Mesothelioma UK

The Great North Run is a half marathon, 13.1 miles, starting in Newcastle before heading over the iconic Tyne Bridge then winding its way through Gateshead to finish by the sea and golden beaches that South Shields is famous for.

Graham is running for Mesothelioma UK, the principal Asbestos charity that ASESA is supporting, including via our ground breaking commitment to send a fifth of our financial reserves to Asbestos charities, year after year, as a not for profit trade association dedicated to our industry.

Graham told us: “I’ve ran the GNR twice before so I know what to expect but 11 years have passed since my first time when I ran in aid of Cystic Fibrosis! More recently I ran for Teesdale & Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue but this time it’s got to be for the charity so close to our industry.”

“Training has been going very well for a 48 year old, fitting in nicely with audits and visiting members around the UK. I’ve been lucky enough to run through some beautiful parts of the country including the landscape around Stonehenge, the Malvern Hills and along the Thames estuary path.”

Anyone who is able to support this fantastic cause, and encourage Graham along the way, can donate via the following link:
